If you want some other stuff done, we are happy to do it. We don't like dinging you for unnecessary things, but sometimes we just need to charge extra.

THE OTHER NECESSARY STUFF

Screens $1-$3
Little screens, little money—big screens, bigger money. For most new homes the screens are on the interior. We'll wipe down both sides of those filthy things or give them a wash. Note: Work on screen a cleaning request may require a Damage Liability Waiver signed. Screens obstructed by objects or doors etc. may be charged at a higher rate.

High/Oddly Placed Windows or Shrubbery
Windows that are not easily accessible will increase the price of the work. Also, it's fun to say "shrubbery".

Long Time Since
If you haven't cleaned your windows in a long time, we may add a charge due to the extra grime present.

Interior Tracks
Tracks can get full of grime and mold over time - we can leave them be and just clean your windows or we can do the tracks too.

Mineral Deposits 
Mineral deposits are annoying right? They also usually need pricey chemicals like CLR or similar quality products to do the job right. They also eat more time. Note: Work on windows with a mineral deposit removal request may require a Damage Liability Waiver signed.

Garage Door 
Why have a clean window when your door is filthy?! ​Note: some garage doors have trim painted to match the colour scheme of the house.  We will do our best to avoid making flecks come off such trim. We do not remove vinyl "windowlet" frames due to risk of breaking.

Tempered Glass and Scratching
Note: Tempered glass scratches easily. Work on tempered glass or glass where we are asked to use a metal scraper or steel or brass wool may require a Damage Liability Waiver signed. Typically your front door and its side windows as well as patio doors, and deck panels will be tempered.

This service is for homes that have vinyl-framed windows that are easily accessed by a waterfed pole, does not require ladder access and has screens that are installed on the interior. Exterior screen removal may incur a modest extra charge.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Here are some answers.

What kinds of Payment do you accept?
In order of preference Interac e-Transfer, Cheque, Cash, Paypal. If you have access to the internet and have the ability to send e-Transfers to an email address, that is our preferred method. ​We're flexible.

​What does "Pure Water System" mean?
We use a waterfed pole and 4-Stage purifying filter system for all or most of your windows. Usually we use your home's water from the city tap water to clean your windows. City and well water has impurities, each city having its own levels of water purity. Basically, that means you've got particles of various minerals and chemicals like chlorine and iron in your water—they stick to a drying window and leave a residue.

The system we use removes almost 100% of those impurities. The result is the dirt on your windows bonds to the water streaming off them, leaving them squeaky clean—no residue--and they dry crystal clear. 

If you are on well water or your area has high water impurities, we will need to bring in outside water source.

I like the old way of doing windows with a squeegee and pole! Why don't you?
We don't hate squeegees or poles...we still need and use them. But using them on some jobs is often more time consuming and they don't give the same results. Using them at higher elevations is also more awkward, potentially hazardous and can lead to repetitive strain. Interior windows definitely need the squeegee.

What do you need to do the work?
We need access to your exterior and or garage (front and back) water source, exterior electrical outlets and your windows. We also need access to bring our tools around to the back. If you have mutual access back yards, please let us know.

Do we need to move anything for you?
We'll move your things if it's safe and put them back, but if you feel the need to move some of your more cherished things in advance, that would be appreciated.

Do you do Interior Window Cleaning?
Yes we do. Interior window cleaning will cost more due to us needing to work around personal objects and take greater care to not harm your valuables. Let us know if you want an interior clean and we can try to schedule it on the same day as your exterior clean.

Do you need to use my water to hook up your system?
Yes we do. But the system uses little water overall. Usually we only need access to one hose bib for a smaller home.

When can you come? Can you do the job when we are at work or if we are out?
Currently we work Monday-Thursday. We can come while you are out as long as we can access your windows, exterior water source and electrical outlet to set up our system. We can bill you after completion via email. 

I have a hard water softener—will that effect the system?
Maybe. Hard water works against our system's effectiveness, and will likely end up leaving residue on your windows. If you have a softener system you will need to tell us. We'll either need to bypass it (if it's hooked up to the outside), if possible, or use water from another source.

I have hard water deposits on my window (so annoying)—can you remove them?
Yes/Probably/Maybe. Hard water deposits can permanently damage/etch windows if left on too long or are baked in the sun. We will charge extra per windows to attempt to remove the deposits (which requires use of harsher chemicals). Usually we can and you will enjoy a spotless view. We'll need you to sign a liability waiver due to possibility of damage to the window and sill.

You won't leave streaks, right? 
That's the goal! We do our best to leave the window perfect, but drips can happen after we leave the window. Our pure water system is streak free. If we need to use a squeegee and applicator, we will definitely do our utmost to make the window sparkly. 

What are your cleanliness standards for Interior Window Cleaning?
We respect your clean home. We will wear clean interior shoes and "booties" to keep your floors and carpets clean. If we drip, we'll clean it asap. If needed (or on request), we'll lay area mats to avoid problems on light carpeting or other areas. 

How high can you reach?
Two storeys for sure. We avoid high ladders for safety reasons. Our waterfed poles can reach two storeys easily and do three storeys of commercial windows comfortably. 

Can you do windows in the rain?
Yes and No. We can do windows in more humid or drizzly weather but it still may not result in the best outcome. Pouring rain or drizzle does not always let the window dry properly due to humidity. Rain can also be accompanied by high winds and lightning—very bad for working with things like poles that can conduct electricity. It can also result in windows having runny drips down the window. If it's raining hard on our appointment date, we'll need to reschedule a mutually workable date and time to return. We advise to check the forecast using Government of Canada mobile app or its website to see the forecast.  

Do you clean Gutters and Downspouts? 
Maybe. It's not on our hit list of services yet, but we're considering it.

Do you clean Vinyl Siding? 
Maybe. Power washing and soft washing is not on our hit list of services yet, but we're considering it. 

Do you do House Cleaning?
It's not our thing. But feel free to ask anyway. If you need some house cleaning, we usually know some trustworthy and local businesses who might be able to help you.

Are you Insured?
Yes we are - $2,000,000.00.

Are you registered with WSIB?
Yes we are. But our account is not currently active due to being a small family business with no employees.
